Culture Shock started as Game Bros by two best friends who had a love for video games. We started out selling online in 2013, we have grown a lot, the past years with hard work, loyal customers and a wonderful staff. We now have 40+ employees and have six stores located around the Houston area.
With the pandemic and trying to compete with on-line stores we decided to change our business model and add Pop Culture and Anime instead of being just a video game store, which led to the store name change from Game Bros to Culture Shock. Culture Shock is based out of Houston, TX. Our primary focus are Funkos, Gundam Model Kits, Video Games, Trading Card Games, Action Figures, Statues, and anything else pop culture.
